He started ranting and raving about how we can't afford that. It is typical for society that sort of stuff. Of course it was also true, we were a farming family and my Pa had always just scraped by.
What did I learn from that experience?
I have learned that many people, in fact most people are holders of whatever cash they have and they don't give easily.....
He wasn't a business man but a farmer.
